Shubi Deoras (she/her) serves as Counsel/Director for the ABA Resource Center for Access to Justice Initiatives, a project of the ABA Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants (SCLAID). She held the position of Assistant Counsel to the ABA Commission on IOLTA from 2014 – 2018. Prior to that, Ms. Deoras provided independent consulting services on a variety of civil and criminal justice system matters. From 2000 – 2005, she served as SCLAID’s Assistant Counsel for indigent defense matters.
