Sarah Sallen is the Juvenile Expungement Staff Attorney at LAF (Legal Assistance Foundation). She manages the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk (JEHD) for LAF. In that work she helps individuals access their juvenile court records, evaluate their eligibility to expunge these records, and complete the juvenile expungement petitions. Sarah began her legal career as a juvenile public defender and guardian ad litem in Detroit with the Michigan Children's Law Center. While there she also worked on an education advocacy project to assist those involved in Detroit's Juvenile Court system with educational issues. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she was a Civitas Childlaw Fellow. She received a B.A. in Child Development and Political Science from Tufts University.
