Laren E. Spirer is an attorney with extensive experience and relationships in the pro bono legal community. Most recently, she was the Pro Bono Manager at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she assisted associates and partners in identifying and pursuing projects with numerous not-for-profit groups in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining Debevoise, Laren worked at Pro Bono Net, the nation's leading organization using information technology to foster collaboration across the public interest and private bar community with the goal of increasing access to justice. Laren began her career as a litigator at public interest private law firms in New York City.
Laren serves on the New York City Bar's Pro Bono and Legal Services Committee, and was formerly on the Leadership Council and Board of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel. She graduated from New York University School of Law and earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Women's Studies from Tufts University. She is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
