Kristy Vick-Stratton is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Vick-Stratton began her legal career in 2003 and clerked for the late Hon. Margaret Huddleston, Warren County's first Family Court Judge. In 2005 Vick-Stratton began serving as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney and served in that capacity until she began her service as an Assistant Public Advocate with the Department of Public Advocacy in 2012. In 2017, Vick-Stratton joined the Bowling Green office of Kentucky Legal Aid where she represents individuals regarding a variety of family law matters, including assisting victims of domestic and dating violence in obtaining orders of protection and helping establish custody and child support for low-income parents. In 2019, Vick-Stratton also began serving as the Outreach Coordinator for Kentucky Legal Aid.

In addition to her law practice with Kentucky Legal Aid, Vick-Stratton is an AOC trained mediator and has taught as an Adjunct Instructor with the Paralegal Studies Program at Western Kentucky University. Vick-Stratton is a member of the Warren County Bar Association.
