BJ Jensen is Paul, Weiss's full-time Pro Bono Associate, helping to manage the firm's pro bono efforts across departments and to develop partnerships with legal services organizations and clients. BJ's legal practice is focused on the immigration needs of LGBTQ individuals, UACs, and survivors of domestic violence. In 2018, he co-led the ACLU's Steering Committee in the Ms. L immigration family separation litigation and oversaw Paul, Weiss' on-the-ground response assisting parents who had been separated from their children. Prior to becoming Pro Bono Associate, BJ was a litigation associate at the firm, and clerked for two Canadian federal judges, following law school at McGill University in Montreal. BJ has also published on international human rights and children's law.
