Recognizing & Responding to Microaggressions in the Legal Services Workplace

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Microaggressions: micro-insults, micro-invalidations and micro-assaults can be based on race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability. How do we recognize and respond to microaggressions amongst the staff, private attorneys, clients and the court? How do we want to be told that we have committed a microaggression? Whether we are the recipient, observer or speaker, we will examine the pros and cons of each such response.
